Dejale Oir Tu Voz

I’m still around. I have yet to throw in the towel. I never realized that the last days of school would be the busiest but yet at the same time the most kickback. Today we had a bbq for the 5th graders and played water games and had a lot of fun. I had almost forgotten that school could also actually be fun. How quickly these last quarters have gone by. Summer vacation is just six days away. Hopefully I can land a gig during summer school. I would really hate to go pick grapes again. Apologies to all, I have not been commenting too much lately because it seems that the jale has me occupied at all times (That and the cardiac Pistons and the smokin’ Tigers!). That’ll change shortly I am sure. Hope you all are well! By the way…any news on the great meetup? I’m still down! Hope you all are well.

STAR Test Playlist

Somewhere along the way someone came to the conclusion that by playing classical music, students taking the STAR test would produce better results. I think they said that I should be playing Mozart and Beethoven (which I did, just in case). I beg to differ in their choice of classical music. The following ten tracks are just a sample of what I played for the kiddies.

Beethoven - Moonlight Sonata
Café Tacuba - 5.1
Café Tacuba - (Sin Titulo)
Café Tacuba - M.C.
Mozart - Requiem
Mozart - Piano Concerto No.9
Johann Strauss - Blue Danube Waltz
Tchaikovsky - 1812 Overture
Tchaikovsky - Waltz From Sleeping Beauty
Richard Wagner - Flight of the Valkyries

By the way, I don’t think I’ve ever mentioned that Cafe Tacuba’s Revez/Yo Soy is a masterpiece.
